Raymond Depardon, le photographe et cinéaste non accompagnés et acclamé a voyagé pendant six ans dans son propre pays pour capturer les paysages et les gens avec un appareil photo. Journal de France montre un portrait d’un pays et ses paysages à son meilleur, un aperçu de la carrière de Raymond Depardon et montre l’évolution de la photographie au cours de la demi-siècle passé.
